Obituary for Jimmie Coleman Jr.

Jimmie Coleman Jr.
Jimmie Coleman Jr., of Shelbiana, KY passed away July 1, 2017 at his residence. Jimmie was born April 15, 1942 in Pike County KY. to the late Jimmie and Arvie Justice Coleman.
Besides both of his parents, Jimmie was preceded in death by two Sisters: Elosie and Carolyne Coleman; three Brothers: Clinard, Roy and Arvil Coleman.
He is survived by his loving Wife: Alice Blackburn Coleman; One Daughter: Leshia (Donald) Mitchell of Pikeville, KY.; One Son: James Clinard (Sherry) Coleman of Shelbiana, KY.; Five Grandchildren: Alison Leann (Tommy) Lidster, Jimmie James (Taryn) Coleman, Cody Reed Mitchell, Jessica Jewell (Michael) Coleman and Joshua Johnel Coleman; Four Sisters: Janice (Ralph) Jones of Millard, KY, Loraine McCown, Patricia (Roger) Thacker and Wanda (Virgil) Coleman all of Shelbiana, KY; 4 Great Grandchildren and a Host of Nieces and a Nephew.
Jimmie will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In Lieu of Flowers family request donations be made to Appalachian Hospice Care.
Family will accept friends at the Thacker Memorial Funeral Home Sunday, July 2, 2017 at 6:00PM and Monday, July 3, 2017 with services each night starting at 7:00PM. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of the Thacker Memorial Funeral Home with James Hamilton and Homer Ramsey officiating. Entombment will follow in the Isaac Thacker Memorial Mausoleum at Annie E. Young Cemetery, Pikeville, KY.
